Wrap Wrangler

Rediscovered, not invented.

Years ago, a website existed that let you measure a gift, plug in the dimensions, and get back the exact rectangle of wrapping paper to cut for a perfect diagonal wrap. It disappeared. No replacement was ever made.

Wrap Wrangler is the first public-facing tool from Lost Province Labs — a precise calculator for the diagonal gift wrapping technique, built because the right tool didn't exist and someone decided to make it.

It is simultaneously a portfolio piece, a proof of concept, and a living demonstration of how LPL thinks: find a real gap, apply some geometry and intention, build the thing that should have existed, finish the back of the dresser on something most people treat as disposable.

Product 2022

The Giftcards.com Gift Card

Giftcards.com offered hundreds of branded gift cards — a huge selection that often left shoppers overwhelmed. Multi-brand "swap" cards existed, but the redemption experience was even more confusing: separate sites, limited brands, no way to combine balances.

Working across product, engineering, design, and operations, I helped shape a cleaner solution: a single card that worked across almost everything on the site. No special portals. No extra steps. Recipients could finally combine it with their own payment method — unlocking upsell opportunities and a genuinely smoother experience.

A gift card that finally felt intuitive, honest, and aligned with how people actually shop.

Platform 2020

WebCart 2.0

Before 2020, WebCart was a small add-on module for independent retailers. Then the world shifted. Practically overnight, online ordering became a lifeline — and our user base grew tenfold.

I helped guide the transformation into WebCart 2.0: growing the team, embracing Agile, rebuilding the platform with a modern design and stronger accessibility. A major part of that work was re-architecting deployments from fragile manual builds into a scalable, wizard-driven system any retailer could run with confidence.

Built quickly, but not carelessly. Shaped by urgency, grounded in empathy, strengthened by the voices of the people who needed it most.
